The dumbbell leg curl is useful when you don t have access to a leg curl machine.
However the resistance is applied.
Otherwise the leg curl machine is recommended for leg curls.
On completion rest a moment and then do the same number of reps on the other leg.
It s a little tricky but once mastered will provide your hammies with a very effective workout.
If you have access to dumbbells the lying dumbbell hamstring curl can replicate the movement of a lying leg curl machine.
