So what we need to do is duplicate level one floor plan.
Duplicate items floor to floor revit.
Duplicate creates a copy of the view that only includes the building elements as shown below.
Look you can see the tab there level one copy one.
Once you have created a model you do not have to recreate the elements at different scales or copy them so that they can be used on more than one sheet.
Annotation and detailing are not copied into the new view.
A new floor plan view is created but this time the dimensions are also created in the new view.

Again let s use our level 0 floor plan view as the source view.

Instead you can duplicate the required views and modify them to suit your needs.
Right click on it s name and this time choose duplicate with detailing.
These are new dimensions created in the duplicated view.
This is useful for a repeating floor plan or if you d like to copy elements from one level to another as a starting point for a floor plan.
