It had the largest possible hatch door combined with an internal deck to overcome the long aperture length. The standard range of drop down loft access hatches all feature a spring loaded loft hatch catch and a three point closing mechanism along with a unique hinge system which means the door can either be opened normally for quick access or completely removed when you need a bit more space to get bulky items into your loft.

The electric loft hatch also has a battery back up so it can be opened in the event of a power cut. Our electric loft ladders are motorised and can be operated via remote control or on a wall mounted switch. With a hinged loft hatch the lid hinges down this is a very convenient style of hatch as the lid can be opened and lowered out of the way with the use of a pole. Its operation is controlled by either a hand held remote or hard wired switch and with a button press the ladder can be in position ready to climb.

With a working load of 150kg this ladder is of quality beech hardwood with a lacquered finish and is installed complete with two handrails. Also the internal deck featured 3 extra treads to gain access to the floor above. Please note this ladder requires a 3 pin 240v electric socket to be situated within 1 metre of the intended opening.
